I started playing cricket in 2019 in Estonia. My first introduction was through the indoor tournament with Tartu Cricket Club. I visited the games and was inclined towards it. As a completely new sport, I was not aware of the rules henceforth some time was spent in enquiring what just happened and trying to understand it. After a few visits to the games, the rules started to get clearer and I was motivated to participate in the training sessions. Since then I have been training with the Tartu Cricket Club and developing my skills towards cricket.<\/p>\n

Participating in the women\u2019s training provides me with the opportunity to learn the specifics of the game with fellow women team mates, who have had international exposure and are always ready to share their experience.<\/p>\n

With the ongoing season and active training sessions, I have been able to hone my cricketing skills and got my first major break to play in the ECA summer 2021 outdoor league with Tartu Cricket Club. Being on the field itself was exciting and scary at the same time. Eventually, it turned out to be a great experience which further motivates me to participate in upcoming games and grow further in the sport.<\/p>\n

I cannot wait to see how cricket unfolds my future!<\/p>\n

Kriketiga hakkasin tegelema 2019. aastal Eestis. Minu kriketi teekond sai alguse Tartu Kriketi Klubis saaliturniiril. Osalesin m\u00e4ngudel ja kriket hakkas meeldima. Kuna see on t\u00e4iesti uus spordiala minu jaoks, siis reegleid ma ei teadnud ja edaspidi kulus aega \u00e4sja toimunu uurimiseks ja sellest aru saamiseks. P\u00e4rast m\u00f5ningaid m\u00e4nge hakkasid reeglid selgemaks muutuma ja see motiveeris mind treeningutel osalema. Sellest ajast olen treeninud Tartu Kriketi Klubiga ja arendanud oma kriketioskuseid.<\/p>\n

Naiste treeningutel osalemine annab mulle v\u00f5imaluse \u00f5ppida m\u00e4ngu erip\u00e4ra koos teiste naiskonnakaaslastega, kellel on olnud v\u00f5imalus rahvusvahelisel tasemel m\u00e4ngida ja kes on alati valmis oma kogemusi jagama.<\/p>\n

K\u00e4imasoleva hooaja m\u00e4ngudega ja aktiivsete treeningutega olen saanud oma kriketi m\u00e4nguoskusi lihvida ja sain oma esimese suurema v\u00f5imaluse m\u00e4ngida Tartu Kriketi Klubi tiimis ECA v\u00e4liliigas 2021 aasta suvel. V\u00e4ljakul olemine oli korraga p\u00f5nev ja \u00f5udne. L\u00f5puks osutus see suurep\u00e4raseks kogemuseks, mis motiveerib mind veelgi eelseisvatel m\u00e4ngudel osalema ja sportlasena edasi arenema.<\/p>\n
