BOARD NEWS

Viking Security Eesti Premium Liiga

The EKL board congratulates Tallinn Strikers on their outstanding victory in the Viking Security Eesti Premium Liiga Division 1. The competition this year was incredibly close and competitive, with each game showcasing high-level cricket and thrilling moments. Strikers displayed exceptional skill and resilience, outplaying a number of strong teams to secure the championship title. Their commitment and teamwork have been exemplary, and this victory is well deserved.

We also extend hearty congratulations to the Vikings Stars for their triumph in the Viking Security Eesti Premium Liiga Division 2. This season’s games were intensely contested, culminating in four teams ending with the same number of points. The Vikings Stars, thanks to their superior net run rate, emerged as the champions and will be promoted to Division 1 next year. Special recognition goes to the Tallinn Riders, Mustamäe Bulls, and Strikers 2.0, who all fought valiantly and finished the league with equal points, making the competition fierce and exciting right to the end.

Well done to all teams for their fantastic performances and for making this season a memorable one, we look forward to the upcoming SBH Solutions Pro40 Liiga games.
